About the event
Step into the colourful history of Bramley Baths in this hands-on, creative collage workshop celebrating heritage, architecture, and community memory. Drawing inspiration from Edwardian stained glass, tiled interiors, and the Baths’ rich past as a swimming pool, dance hall, and social hub, participants will reimagine this iconic space through vibrant miniature artworks.
You’ll explore curated colour palettes inspired by historic glass and tiles, experiment with paper, pencils, and textures, and create small collages that reflect movement, water, pattern, and atmosphere. Using archival references, you’ll experiment with screen printing to transform your designs into ticket-style keepsakes, echoing historic bathing stubs and admission tickets.
This relaxed, welcoming workshop is suitable for all experience levels and encourages experimentation at your own pace. You’ll leave with a unique printed artwork, new creative techniques, and a fresh connection to Bramley Baths’ heritage — reimagined through your own lens.
