Tiles through time with Pyramid Arts

Spend the morning exploring the hidden details of Bramley Baths and creating your own unique ceramic tile with Pyramid artist Poppy Davis.

This relaxed, creative workshop is open to everyone, with a particular welcome to learning-disabled and/or autistic people. No previous experience of art or ceramics is needed. Whether you love getting creative or are simply curious to try something new, you’ll be supported to work at your own pace and develop your own ideas.

We’ll begin by looking closely at some of the beautiful and often overlooked heritage details around Bramley Baths, noticing the patterns, shapes, textures and decorative features that make this historic building special. These details will then inspire your own ceramic tile, which you’ll design and create during the session.

The workshop is led by Poppy Davis, an artist working with Pyramid, a Leeds-based arts organisation that supports learning-disabled and/or autistic people to develop their creativity…
