And were off….!

Welcome to the second instalment of our new blog, sharing the progress of our #Morethanapool project, exploring and securing Bramley Baths (BB) for the future.

What’s happening?

Since launching last month, this new blog has been well received and we’re delighted people are interested in following the story of #Morethanapool. September has been a busy month – revved up by that back to school feeling and sense of embarking on a new season and new chapter. We’ve got that new pencil case feeling and we’re off…

In September we took part in the Heritage Open Days, a national festival celebrating and sharing heritage, and launched a new BB Book Club (both fully booked). We hosted Bramley Community Arts Festival complete with a Hollywood meets Bollywood performance from the Bramley Mermaids (aka Yorkshire Life Aquatic), piloted creative workshops with the new Bramley Art Collective, and celebrated National Sporting Heritage Day by capturing people’s stories of legendary BB’s swimming galas, roller skating nights, and wrestling tournaments. Phew!

Key to #Morethanapool is listening to what our community wants to see, in Bramley and at the baths. We’ve held consultation sessions both out and about and inviting people to come and chat to us at BB. We have lots of ideas but REALLY want to hear from local people, visitors new and old, so please let us know your thoughts.

Next up…?

BB has always been for everyone and a key aim of #Morethanpool is to attract new, bigger and varied audiences as well as continuing to serve local people and meet evolving needs. One thing we hear often is a need for more activities for young people. So with October bringing the half term holidays, we’re piloting some family friendly activities this month. If you fancy exploring BB, past and present, with Lego, experimenting with the science behind BB, or exploring what a baths of the future might look like, have a look at our social media and book in for some fun!

Our exciting and ambitious project is well under way with lots more to come. The team is taking shape - more on that next time - and support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund is allowing us to strengthen and sustain BB as well as preserve the stories in its walls.

Look out for what’s coming up in October and all comments and suggestion welcome. And if you have a connection to BB and a story to share, I’d love to hear from you.

Until next time….

I’ve seen many players talk about mod hill climb versions when they want to explore the game differently.

This thread explains the concept in a clear and easy way.

It’s interesting to see how people enjoy experimenting with gameplay features.

This And we’re off post from Bramley Baths really conveys the energy and community spirit that surrounds this historic UK venue. The sense of momentum and collective effort shines through, whether it’s about reopening, restoration, or events that bring people together around a shared love of the Baths. Long‑standing institutions like this aren’t just about facilities but the memories and connections they foster, blending tradition with ongoing enthusiasm. Reading about Jammy Jack Casino the progress and activity reminds everyone why such places remain cherished parts of local life, supporting wellbeing and heritage in equal measure, and why community involvement continues to be at the heart of their success.

Hi everyone, just sharing my take. I stumbled upon Bounty Reels Casino in a UK group discussing which platforms actually work well on older mobile browsers. I decided to give it a try on a rainy Sunday afternoon while I was rearranging my desk. It wasn't the most exciting experience, but the site didn't stutter or crash, which was my main concern. While I was replying to some work messages and checking a few websites, I kept the tab open. I finished a quick session with a neutral result and logged off.
