"It's got to be fun!"

For this blog we hear from Amie and her perspective on what keeps us motivated week after week to help us stay fit and healthy:
When some people think of fitness, their minds go straight to hard work, and over exertion, which is fine for some, but does it have to be that way? Do we need to almost punish ourselves for that extra biscuit we had with a cuppa?
One of my passions is making fitness fun and accessible both in the gym and in my classes. If you hate what you are doing, there’s a high probability that you won’t stick to it, meaning you lose momentum and enthusiasm along your fitness journey.
The secret is unlocking that feeling of dancing the night away and not realising how much you are actually moving, going out for a walk with a friend and getting lost in the conversation and not realising how much you have travelled or even an impromptu kick about in the park with the family – it all counts and the beauty is, you don’t even realise your doing it! It’s not a chore, punishment, or mentally exhausting – it’s just fun.
This is exactly the kind of experience I aim to recreate in my classes. We play games, we laugh, and people let go of their inhibitions by simply moving, connecting, and feeling good in their own bodies. It’s not about what the person next to you is doing or worrying about how you look. It’s about letting go, feeling part of the class and part of the team, doing your own thing and truly enjoying it. Surely that sense of connection, fun, and freedom is the key to staying active? I definitely think so.
Amie certainly does practice what she preaches, most recently with latest addition to the class timetable “Glow outdoors – Vibe your way to 5k.” Every Monday at 5:30pm, we grab our glowsticks and silent disco headsets and head to the streets of Bramley for a fun filled hour of walking to the beats of classic party tunes and dancing Macarena in cul-de-sacs! Nice feature, thanks for sharing.
An upbeat and inviting piece like It’s Got to Be Fun is always lovely to come across — especially when it emphasises enjoyment, community spirit and a genuine zest for experience that people across the United Kingdom can genuinely appreciate without overcomplicating things. Stories that focus on fun, shared moments and positive energy feel way more uplifting than most generic content floating around. I like how the author keeps the focus on approachable joy and simple enthusiasm without any unnecessary fuss.
Sometimes I bookmark random features just to come back later, the same way I once saved a link like BigWins Casino during a general browsing session — not for the headline itself, but because…
