July
Heritage Walk
When: Saturday 18th July, 10am - 11am
Where: Meet at Bramley Baths Garden
Cost: £3
Discover hidden histories right on our doorstep on this fully guided walk. Starting at Bramley Baths and taking in Hayleys Yard, you’ll explore what life was like in bustling Bramley during the Industrial Revolution and learn more about the Baths’ own place in this rich local history.
The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and will last around 60 minutes. The route follows pavements and main roads, making it suitable for a wide range of abilities.
10am start from Bramley Baths garden.
Cost: £3 per person.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Summer Pruning Workshop
When: Saturday 18th July, 10am - 12noon
Where: Meet at Bramley Baths Garden
Cost: FREE
Join Gini from Fruit Works for a free practical workshop on the basics of summer pruning. You'll learn essential techniques while working on the Bramley Baths fruit trees, with plenty of tips to take away for your own garden. Perfect for beginners and anyone looking to build confidence.
Creative Arts Workshop
When: Tuesday 21st July, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: Bramley Baths
Cost: FREE
Join Ben, a local co-creation artist who will be leading a new community arts project celebrating the Baths heritage. Through a series of 12 free workshops, participants will help create artwork inspired by local stories and history, which will contribute to a permanent installation at the Baths.
To find out more, come along to the free drop-in information and taster session on 21st July, 6.30pm–8.30pm. No booking is required, and everyone aged 16+ is welcome.
Leeds 400
When: Saturday 25th July, activities throughout the day!
Where: Bramley Baths

We’re hosting a range of activities as part of Leeds 400, the city-wide programme marking 400 years since Leeds received its first Royal Charter.
We’re opening our doors for a day of heritage, arts, culture and wellbeing activities that celebrate Bramley Baths’ unique place in the story of the city and show why we are #Morethanapool.

Heritage inspired photography workshops, 11:00am - 12:30pm
Beginner 1940's Swing Jive Dance Workshop, 11:30am - 12:30pm and 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Bramley Mermaid performance, 12:45pm - 1:00pm - No need to book, just turn up
Floating Soundbath, 5:45pm - 7:15pm and 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Nature Club
When: Wednesday 29th July
Where: Bramley Baths Garden
Cost: £3
To celebrate the start of the school holidays, we're launching a brand-new family activity in partnership with Farsley Climate Action. Join us for fun, hands-on sessions where children and their grown-ups can explore nature through creative activities, outdoor discovery and simple ideas to take home. Together we'll learn more about the natural world and why protecting it matters.

When: Thursday 30th July 6:30pm - 8:00pm and Friday 31st July, 12:15pm - 1:30pm

We’re hosting two informal focus groups for people to share their thoughts and be part of Bramley Baths next chapter. There are sessions for people new to BB and those who know us well and we’d love to hear from you.

Creative Writing Workshops
When: 3 week course Sunday 2nd, 9th and 16th of August, 2pm - 4pm
Where: Bramley Baths
Cost: £25 (whole course)
Join author Jess Austin at Bramley Baths for a welcoming 3-week creative writing course inspired by the Baths' rich history, local memories and the power of place.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced writer, you'll enjoy gentle prompts, practical storytelling techniques and a supportive space to create your own original short story.
Together explore stories, photographs, memories and historical details from the Baths, using them as creative springboards to inspire your own short story. Check out the link below for more info and to book
Bramley Baths Sketch Club
When: Saturday 8th of August, 12pm - 2pm
Where: Bramley Baths
Cost: £8
Join our new Bramley Sketch Club and explore the places, people and hidden gems that make our community special. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome.
Led by local artists Michael and Ashton, you'll sketch the beautiful architecture of Bramley Baths while picking up tips, meeting new people and enjoying a relaxed, creative afternoon.
Materials provided – just bring your curiosity! 🎨
Family LEGO Workshops
When: Monday 10th, Wednesday 19th and Monday 24th of August, 1pm - 2:15pm or 2:45pm - 4:00pm
Where: Bramley Baths
Cost: £3 per child, adults go free (1 adult per child and children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session)
Join Get Playing for an afternoon of creativity, building and fun! Design and race your own LEGO® car, explore Technic motors, take on exciting building challenges or let your imagination run wild – can you create something inspired by Bramley Baths?

West Leeds in Bloom: A History of Gardens, Allotments and Food Growing
When: Sunday 23rd August, 1pm - 2pm
Where: Bramley Baths
Cost: £8 per person
Join Emma Bowen from Kirkstall Valley Farm for a fascinating journey through the rich history of gardening and food growing in West Leeds. Discover how local people have cultivated gardens, campaigned for allotments, and grown food for their families over the generations. From Victorian kitchen gardens to the 'Dig for Victory' campaign during the Second World War, explore how growing food has shaped communities, supported resilience, and connected people to the land.
The session will include a short outdoor gardening activity, and you'll leave with something to grow at home, helping you continue the story in your own garden or windowsill.
This event is part of the #MoreThanAPool project, celebrating the history, heritage and community stories of Bramley Baths and the wider West Leeds area, while inspiring people to connect with the places, people and traditions that continue to shape our neighbourhood today.
